INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Nov. 29, 2004 -- Vonexus Inc., a global
developer of Microsoft-based IP PBX software and wholly-owned subsidiary of
Interactive Intelligence Inc., achieved Gold Certified status
last month in the Microsoft Partner Program with competencies in Information
Worker Productivity and Independent Software Vendor/Software Solutions.
Requirements for Gold Certified status include demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies, and a proven ability to meet customers' needs within specific competency areas. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Vonexus receives access to Microsoft documentation, training, and support designed to give it a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Vonexus was launched in July as an Interactive Intelligence subsidiary to offer the first standards-based, all-software IP PBX developed exclusively for Microsoft small to midsize business customers.
Its IP PBX, called Enterprise Interaction CenterĀ® (EIC), offers SIP- based switching, built-in auto-attendant, call routing and queuing capabilities, and wireless support. EIC is pre-integrated with Windows Server, SQL, and LCS, and offers Windows and Outlook-based softphones, as well as Exchange-based unified messaging. Screen-pop and IVR integration will soon be available for Microsoft Business Solutions, including Great Plains, Navision, and CRM.

The company also achieved competency in Independent Software Vendor/Software Solutions, which was designed by Microsoft to recognize the skill and focus partners bring to a particular solution set.
Vonexus has a global channel, today composed of approximately 80 enterprise IP telephony value-added resellers, including Microsoft-certified partners.
