DALLAS, TX -- March 27, 2006 -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS), a premier provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar information technology outsourcing (ITO) contract with Burger King Corporation, a global leader in the restaurant industry.
Under the terms of the five-year contract, ACS will manage Burger King's entire global enterprise server and end-user computing environments. ACS' end-to-end infrastructure solution will include enterprise server hosting and systems engineering, system management, print and mail services, and end-user computing. ACS will also deliver integrated general support services, such as monitoring, help desk, and problem and change management. The contract adds to the growing list of global clients ACS is serving from both domestic and foreign data center facilities and expands ACS' footprint in the restaurant industry.
ACS will provide end-user computing for more than 11,000 BURGER KING(R) restaurants around the world and will employ a mix of its global delivery team combined with on-site client-facing engineers to provide "follow-the-sun," 24x7 coverage.

This is a great contract to win. I wonder what is going to happen now that the contract is now up or close to being up. I wonder if they will continue to go with ACS or if something else is in store for Burger King.
